Biology Advising
FAQ
Are there any biology clubs or related
student organizations with emphasis on biology and professional development?
There have been a number of undergraduate clubs with biology themes. Many
of them last as long as there is a nucleus of committed individuals to
maintain them, and then disappear.
One student organization that has been active for over a decade is Alpha
Theta Pi (ATP -- get it?), a co-ed biology fraternity. They usually
post announcements about organizational meetings in Biology buildings
and classes early in the fall semester.
The best way to find out which organizations might be of interest to you
is to attend the Student Actifivities Fair, held each fall. [Sponsored
