Biology Advising FAQ

I have a hard time with math and physics. Is there any way to get a biology degree without having to take physics?

Yes. The Biological Sciences Major can be taken either as a B.S. or a B.A. program. The B.A. has fewer science requirements and does not require a year of physics. However, we recommend this only as a last resort. If at all possible, we recommend that you take a year of physics and that you satisfy the B.S. degree requirements.

The EEB major can also be taken as a B.A. or B.S. degree.
